She has worked for Moscow’s most prestigious theatres, including the Bolshoi and the Vakhtangov, where she was resident costume designer from 1986-1991. Renowned as one of Russia’s top costume designers (for which she has been awarded several prizes), Marina specialises in costumes design for opera, ballet and children’s theatre. Since 1991 she has lived and worked in Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Florence.
